Don't You Know

Let''s be real...no one told you parenting would be easy. There''s no instruction book on how to parent, especially brown boys. 

Don''t You Know is a new parents'' song of affirmation to not only their child - but to themselves! Originating with the intent of creating calm and confidence in the uncertainty that parenting brings, this ode progressed to be a loving daily reminder of what a parent hopes their child will always remember: that they belong and that they can go far - but most importantly that they are loved! 

Frederick Douglass says it best,  "it is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men."
