Even the darkness will not be dark to you;

the night will shine like the day,

for darkness is as light to you.

God, you are not afraid of the dark. Help me to trust in you. Amen.

Psalm 71:6-7

From birth I have relied on you;

you brought me forth from my mother’s womb.

I will ever praise you.

God, you have been with me from the beginning and are with me tonight. Amen.
