The arctic fox

Arctic foxes are tough little guys that live high in the mountains or way up north, almost up to the North Pole. They like it best where it is cold, snowy and windy.In Norway there are few arctic foxes left, so it is important to take care so that they do not become extinct.
This book describes how arctic foxes live through the whole year, from when they are born in the spring deep in holes in the earth, until the time when they are round white balls, living through winter storms in their thick winter coates.
Kirsti Blom is an author who has written many books, both for children and for adults.
Eva Fuglei is a research scientist who works for the Norwegian Polar Institute with aectic foxes as her speciality.
