Efrn Navas Am is his Superwomanor Soperwoman, named after the delicious Mexican sopes his mother often prepares. Both Am and Ap work hard all day to provide for the family, making sure Efrn and his younger siblings Max and Ma feel safe and loved.

But Efrn worries about his parents; although hes American-born, his parents are undocumented. His worst nightmare comes true one day when Am doesnt return from work and is deported across the border to Tijuana, Mxico.
