Little Beast

What was Beast from Beauty and the Beast like before the fairy tale? Find out in this fantastically funny story from picture book duo Abie Longstaff and Leire Martín. Little Beast hasn’t always been selfish. He hasn’t always had a tail . . . or whiskers. He was once a jolly prince named Leo, who could make even the grumpiest of goblins laugh. But when a furious fairy catches him having a tea party under her rose tree, she casts a spell that changes things for ever . . . Full of adventure, twists and turns, join Little Beast on his mischievous journey and discover how he became the legendary Beast we know today!  The Before the Fairytale picture book series turn familiar tales upside down, exploring how the heroes – and villains – became the legends we know today.  Also available in the series: Little Bad Wolf, Little Fairy Godmother.
