A story of friends, books and chocolate cake

Mrs Owl’s magical bookshop is Clara’s happy place. Whenever she’s feeling sad, she can be sure Gustaf the rhyming cat will make her laugh, the talking mirror will offer good advice, and Mrs Owl will know the right book to make her smile again.
And Clara needs all the cheering up she can get, now that her best friend has gone and school’s about to start.
But Mrs Owl has bigger problems. A local businessman is trying to shut down her magical bookshop – and Clara is determined to stop him.
