Beautiful Days - A Collection of Essays and Poetry

A unique collection of previously published work, Beautiful Days showcases Vernagene Vogelzang's writing, in both essay and poem form. Some selections share treasured memories while others offer insight, narrative, and opinions about her life in California's Central Valley.

Some selections present interesting history, such as "Clues for Hershey Collectors" and "The Uncommon H.J. Heinz." Other stories address topics of marriage, parenthood, life, and death.

Interspersed with photographs, this collection provides glimpses into Vogelzang's life and evokes the satisfaction she receives from writing.
