Men Without Ears

From award-winning author, Ifeoma Okoye, Men Without Ears chronicles the societal challenges and pressures of 1980s Nigeria.

After travelling away from home, Chigo returns to his family with fresh ideals and a renewed sense of purpose, but finds that his brother has fallen into a life of reckless materialism and debt while he was away.

Chigo soon realises that problem is larger than it seems, with the country under the thumb of a corrupt regime where dissent is silenced and bribery has become the norm. Speaking out against the cruelty and injustice around him, Chigo is cast out and must discover a way to be heard, at any cost.

With piercing insight and evocative prose, Ifeoma Okoye delivers a haunting tale of conscience, exile, and the cost of integrity in a world where listening is a revolutionary act.
