A Psalm for Cottondale - Poems

Sharony Green's A Psalm for Cottondale is a meditation on a place that gives way to the memory of other places. It invites consideration of all things southern and American. Via free verse, the author presents a story about joy and survival on the east side of an Alabama college town. Here, change is constant. What such change means can be both funny and tragic. Inspired by writings addressing history, geography and culture, A Psalm for Cottondale is Green's second poetry book.
