Have Banker Will Travel

What happens when a young woman marries a banker and finds herself swept into a life of ‎constant travel? In Have Banker Will Travel, Noreen Kemp tells her story with warmth, humour ‎and rich detail, taking readers from the bustling streets of 1960s Hong Kong to the jungles and ‎cities of Malaysia, the diverse Indian sub-continent, the desert of Qatar and the exotic ‎Seychelles. Life as a 'Bank wife' was far from ordinary. Noreen shares stories of destructive ‎typhoons, and dinner parties where Chinese customs led to hilarious misunderstandings. She ‎adapts to cultural surprises, makes lifelong friends and even faces the unexpected dangers of the ‎Seychelles Coup and the Brunei Rebellion - all while juggling her roles as a wife and mother. ‎

With a knack for storytelling and a window into a world long past, Noreen offers a fascinating ‎look at life abroad during a time of change and adventure. It's a charming memoir for anyone ‎who loves stories of resilience and discovery.
