Lost Lines of England and Wales: Shrewsbury to Chester

The Lost Lines series documents a lost age of steam-train travel which thrived from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century. The railway linking Shrewsbury to Chester has served the communities along its length since 1848, as well as being, for over a century, a key component of the Great Western Railway?s main line from the Mersey to London.
