Mary Ann Shadd Cary - Essential Writings of a Nineteenth-Century Black Radical Feminist

This volume collects writing by and about Mary Ann Shadd Cary, an abolitionist, suffragist, one of the first Black woman newspaper editors in North America, and the first Black woman to enroll in law school in the United States.
