A deeply troubling and offensive work of pseudo-science, Negroes and Negro is a prime example of the racist propaganda that characterized much of the American South during the late 19th century. Author John H. Van Evrie espouses a range of despicable theories about race and genetics, many of which were later adopted by the Nazi regime in Germany.
