Hong Kong and China: Initiatives to Enhance Holistic Youth Development

In the global context, public health professionals and policy-makers are actively exploring initiatives to enhance holistic youth development. In this book, three promising initiatives based on Chinese young people are presented. The first initiative is service leadership education with particular focus on the importance of promoting law abidance leadership. The second initiative is service learning which can benefit the well-being of different stakeholders. The final initiative is positive youth development programs. This book is a valuable tool for professionals (educators, researchers, policymakers, and professionals) and non-professionals (parents and young people) to promote the holistic development of young people.
