In the civilian tactical environment, seconds count. TECC: Tactical Emergency Casualty Care, Second Edition trains EMS practitioners of all levels how to safely respond to and care for patients in a civilian tactical environment, including active shootings. This program is designed to decrease preventable deaths in the field. Developed by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) and endorsed by the American College of Surgeons, TECC, Second Edition reflects current, medical knowledge and practice, and promotes critical-thinking as the foundation for providing quality care.
