This second edition is shorter and more focused than the first edition, and we have tried even harder to live up to our motto: turning the blah blah into aha.

As long as learners work towards the aims of the national curriculum LK20, both the Core Curriculum and the English plan, teachers are free to choose which content, which material and which activities they work with in their English lessons. This book will support you in making those choices.

English for secondary school is written with two groups of readers in mind: students taking GLU 5-10, PPU, lektor and master’s programmes; and qualified teachers looking for new approaches and activities.
