This volume includes seven chapters that detail the progress in education. Chapter 1 examines resilience as a potential construct to supplement standardized achievement testing in high school students who are deaf/hard of hearing (DHH) or blind/low vision (BLV). Chapter 2 aims to further contribute to the observation and research of the use of the iPad as an educational tool in a Spanish Primary education classroom. Chapter 3 describes the place and role of AI in the scientific understanding of the problem of forming students’ motivational ability to learn a foreign language based on the principles of academic integrity. Chapter 4 demonstrates how strategic management is a vital component of higher education institutions, ensuring their sustainability, competitiveness, and ability to adapt to changing educational landscapes. Chapter 5 supports the hypothesis that a lack of knowledge among teachers about dyslexia is disadvantageous; learners coping with dyslexia continue to suffer discrimination and exclusion compared to their peers who are said to be “normal”. Chapter 6 adopts an explanatory research design that starts with a qualitative development stage, followed by quantitative testing for the effectiveness of the Design-Based Learning (DBL) model for students' digital literacy. Finally, chapter 7 provides a detailed overview of the transition of wireless communication laboratory studies to Scilab, an open-source substitute for proprietary software.
