This book provides cognitive behaviour therapists in practice and training with clearly laid out examples of good practice, which they can then draw on when working with clients. Each chapter from expert contributors provides a description of one or two cases of people with a specified anxiety or related disorders, such as posttraumatic stress disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder. This includes background to the presentation, how the CBT treatment proceeded, through to outcomes and lessons learned. A number of chapters invite the service users whose cases are described to comment on the treatment themselves. This book will be essential reading for cognitive behaviour therapists, clinical and counselling psychologists, and other psychological therapists working with people with anxiety and related problems.
