Come Away With Me - A retreat with Jesus for busy people

Are you a busy disciple struggling to spend time with Jesus? You're not alone. Life can be hectic and finding time to slow down and be with Jesus can feel difficult. In Come Away with Me, Bishop Ruth Bushyager offers a refreshing invitation to step away from the noise and rediscover the person of Jesus. It is designed to be read anywhere, whether on a crowded train or in a contemplative moment in the sun and invites us to take Jesus’ invitation to ""come away"" seriously. Drawing on six key moments from Mark's Gospel, Bishop Ruth explores familiar passages with fresh insight, helping us see Christ in all his cosmic, eternal and divine glory. From the calling of the first disciples to the Transfiguration, each chapter invites you to pause, reflect and encounter Jesus afresh. A retreat in a book, Come Away with Me can be used as a weekly devotion through Lent or throughout the year. For anyone longing to slow down, deepen their faith and find true rest in Jesus.
