Eskimo Life

During the winter of 1888–9, Norwegian explorer Fridtjof Nansen (1861–1930) and his team lived among the Greenlandic Inuit for several months, following their successful crossing of the country's interior. This English translation of Nansen's 1891 account was first published in 1893.
