Steam Yachts [1875 - 1928]

This book explores the amazing story of the magnificent  luxury steam yachts built at Leith. More than 100 of these beautiful vessels were build between 1870 and the end of World War 1, primarily by the shipbuilding firm Ramage & Ferguson. Floating palaces built with consummate skill by the shipbuilders of Leith, this tradition was often overshadowed by the more well-known and fairly larger concerns based in the west of the River Clyde.
