Putting on the Wakeful One - Attuning to the Spirit of Jesus through Watchfulness

Today's world is dominated by fear, yet open to ancient wisdom and the spiritual. How can the church respond to the opportunities this presents? In Putting on the Wakeful One, Shaun Lambert works through Mark s Gospel, showing how Jesus modelled watchfulness the ancient practice of attunement to the Holy Spirit. Ever aware of the Holy Spirit s leading, Jesus was able to discern life-changing moments of the Spirit s work and to offer hope and healing to the lost people around Him.Shaun explains how practising watchfulness in our own lives is essential to experiencing Christlike transformation and developing what has been called the prophetic imagination . Putting on the Wakeful One will empower us to bring the hope of the kingdom of God to a fearful, seeking world.
