The book is intended to address the possible causes and cures for heat pockets on earth. Heat wave is a period of unusually high temperatures as compared to what is normally expected over a region. Researchers in 2023 reported that about 2 billion people experienced heating condition which was attributed to human made climate change. In recent times, temperature has been above historical average in many parts of the world as a result of climate change and the temperatures differs from place to place. This becomes seriously concerning about the causes of this heat which can last for several days with great impact on the society including a rise in heat related deaths across the globe. While discussing the possible causes and types, the book also intends to look for cures of heat waves. A chapter is also dedicated to what an individual, living anywhere on this planet can do to reduce the effects of heat pockets in the region. The idea is every drop counts.
