Post-Beijing 2008: Geopolitics, Sport and the Pacific Rim

Sport is the harbinger of political purpose. This book analyses China's hegemonic intentions, aspirations and ambitions around the Pacific Rim through its recent hosting of the 2008 Olympic Games. It was published as a special issue of the International Journal of the History of Sport.
