This book focuses on advances in sociology research. Questions that will be addressed in Chapter 1 concern the contribution of the environmental factor to the migration phenomenon. It also implements a systematic literature review via scientific databases Scopus and Google Scholar by combining topic-related keywords to identify research studies. Chapter 2 critically examines the doctrine of eminent domain as government authority to expropriate private property for public use with compensation. Chapter 3's argument seeks to sustain the view that Plutarch’s historiographic methodology was firmly grounded in his "a priori" intentions, derived from political procedures, peripatetic scholarship and mythological reasoning. Chapter 4 examines the critical and under-discussed issue of workplace violence against CPS workers. It situates these experiences within sociological frameworks of labor, power, and organizational responsibility, offering both analytical insight and actionable recommendations. Chapter 5 explores the intricate relationship between technology and human interaction, examining how social media platforms, instant messaging, and online communities contribute to feelings of isolation despite their intended purpose of fostering connection. Finally, Chapter 6 explores these emerging dynamics through a sociological lens, examining how evolving technologies and participatory cultures are reshaping the practices, politics, and perceptions of AVT in the digital age.
