This title, first published in 1950, describes and interprets the results of a study of the young people of Birmingham. Visits were paid to hundreds of youth organizations, and answers to questions were given by over 1000 young people, both ‘attached’ and ‘unattached’. Today it is a fascinating look back at life in post-war Britain.
