The Law and Practice of Peacekeeping - Foregrounding Human Rights

A detailed study of three key aspects that have come to define the UN's presence in Haiti – the use of force, sexual exploitation and abuse, and an epidemic inadvertently introduced by UN peacekeepers – combining international relations with international law and suggesting a new model of accountability which foregrounds human rights.
