This book, part of the series "Synergy: Translation Studies, Literature, Linguistics", intends to gather new perspectives in the field of linguistics. It particularly deals with the cross-cultural aspects of language focusing on the themes such as intercultural communication, intercultural pragmatics, critical discourse analysis, corpus linguistics and second language acquisition.
