History of Bridges - A Philatelic Review

This book is an introduction to the topic of bridges and is an unpretentious, popular contribution to the history of technology, where such aspects as technology, history and philately are merged. The book was published for the first time in 1990 with the title ''Broer som hobby''. The current edition is bilingual and is published in an electronic version and in an abbreviated paper edition. It deals with the history, development and classification of bridges. Different kinds of bridges are described and particular structures are presented. Illustrations are all stamps with bridge motives, arranged according to engineering criteria.
