Horticulture has emerged as a significant component of contemporary agriculture, and there are several new areas that are being explored within this field. Originally, horticulture was limited to the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and postharvest technology. However, it has since expanded to encompass additional areas such as disease, breeding, pathology, physiology, greenhouse technologies, and other topics that were previously unknown. To address these evolving topics, the Hi-Tech Horticulture book series has been developed with the input of esteemed professors and scientists.
