The current book serves as the second installment in the Underutilized and Underexploited Horticultural Crops series edited by Prof. K.V. Peter. Dr. S.K. Pandey, the Director of CPRI, Shimla, elucidates the Taxonomy of Temperate Underutilized Root and Tuber Crops. Dr. U. Sreelatha from the Kerala Agricultural University explores the flowers surrounding homesteads, and Dr. K. Valliappan provides an overview of Liliums. The trees covered in this book include Mahua, Chironji, and Drumstick. Dr. A.M. Rao and Dr. P. Indira delve into Turmeric and Long Coriander, respectively.
