Foras mechanics is primarily intended as a tool for engineering students in problem solving and during written examinations in Mechanics at the university level. Primarily the book is designed fmulor students of basic courses in Engineering Mechanics: Statics, Strength of materials, Dynamics and Fluid Mechanics. The book also includes quite a few formulas of more advanced nature in order to make the book also useful in advanced courses in Mechanics. Symbols and terminology used in the book are adapted to international standards and to what appears to be commonly used in international literature.
