Africa - regional overview of food security and nutrition 2019 - containing the damage of economic slowdowns and downturns to food security in Africa

Looks at how, despite a recent slowdown in undernourishment, food insecurity is rising due to economic downturns, conflict and climate extremes. This report suggests that countries should develop policies and invest to achieve a more diversified economy and an inclusive structural transformation.
