Macbeth

Three witches prophesy that Macbeth, a general in the Scottish king's army, will one day take his master's place, and ambition, guilt and paranoia lead to deceit and murder. Chris McNab's introduction to this First Folio-based edition examines the play's origins, plot and characters, and notes, a glossary and a timeline are included.
