This guide provides general definitions and principles of organic beekeeping production, as well as a selection of suitable apiary sites. It outlines procedures for the establishment and operation of organic beekeeping; the management of bee colonies and apiaries; the maintenance of honeybee health and disease control; migratory organic beekeeping practices; pre- and post-harvest handling of organic honey; and organic certification.
