Kersey - Colours and Light

Thevillage of Kersey is one of the most picturesque in Suffolk. It lies on the twoinclines between the old Priory and the church and is intersected by the valleythrough which a stream flows whose waters were most necessary for themanufacture of the Kersey and Lindsey cloths so famous from the earliest daystill late in the eighteenth century.  Ancient homesteads line the villagestreet.
