The beautiful and scholarly book looks at the Japanese screens of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Focusing on the Gardner Museum’s Scenes from the Tale of Genji screens, Melissa McCormick expands upon and redefines the immersive viewing experience of the folding screen.
