In Umbra Lucis

Initially introduced by a nun in the Teutonic Order, photographer Roland Reinstadler gained access to the Lanegg Monastery in Lana, South Tyrol, Italy, granting him a rare glimpse behind the walls of a cloistered monastery. Roland Reinstadler was born in Italy. His work has been published in numerous international magazines including the Washington Post (online), STERN Magazin, National Geographic, Der Spiegel (online) and Die Zeit (online), among others. His first monograph, Gspell 111 was published in 2022.
