He has directed numerous films, music videos and advertisements across Africa, America and Europe. The award-winning filmmaker''s disruptive style - which frequently merges visual representations of transcontinental experiences with the countercultural energies of Afrodiasporic music - challenges the Eurocentric biases underpinning Western media.
