Death Comes to the Marriage Bureau

A fake boyfriend, a diamond ring theft and a murder aren’t going to stop the owners of The Right Sort Marriage Bureau from bringing love matches to the residents of Post-WWII London . . . but it will certainly give Iris and Gwen a challenge!

It started with a kiss . . . and ended with murder!

Iris Sparks can't catch a break. Just as she arrives home from her holiday, a former associate shows up on her doorstep demanding she pretend to be his girlfriend. He's infiltrated a local fascist movement and thinks his cover might have been blown. He needs Iris’s help to convince the people following him that he’s faithful to their cause. Iris is willing to play along but soon her home is vandalised, her fake boyfriend is attacked and her much-adored neighbour is killed.

Along with her best friend and business partner, Gwen Bainbridge, Iris must once again solve a murder and uncover a sinister plot. One thing’s for certain, it’s useful having friends in spy places!
