Randul is a young Veddah tribesman who, while out in the Sri Lankan forests, chances upon four priceless raw Padparadscha sapphires. Due to a mutual passion for foraged ingredients, Randul meets Stephen, a celebrity chef, and unwittingly draws him into the murky world of Ziyad, a gem dealer with a dangerous past. Ziyad has only one desire, to dispossess Randul of his find, but by do-ing so he sends his son to his death and exposes himself to others seeking revenge and restitution of a lost fortune. Following a violent confrontation with Ziyad Randul must flee Sri Lanka.
Twenty years on, Randul has become a British citizen as well as a successful businessman. The ce-lebrity chef has fallen on hard times and Ziyad is paying for his past crimes. It is Ameesha, Ziyad-s daughter, who has ambitions of her own. Taking Randul as her lover, she seeks to take control of the Padparadscha stones. Her single-minded pursuit leads to the betrayal of both her father and Randul, with dire con
