Vampire Menstrual Syndrome - A Novel

In this “completely unhinged and wickedly funny” (Lindy Ryan, bestselling author of Dollface) feminist horror-comedy, one woman’s first day of her period goes spectacularly wrong when she’s sacrificed to a dark god by a cult of entitled teenagers. And you thought cramps were bad…. The last thing Vanessa Selvig wants to do on the first day of her period is work an unscheduled shift. But as a favor for her boss, she embarks on a late-night cake delivery to the suburbs. She awakens six feet under with little memory of the night before, an intense craving for blood, and wicked cramps. Desperate for answers, Ness and her paranormal-obsessed bestie, Wyatt, investigate and stumble into a hidden supernatural world. But with every passing night, her vampiric symptoms worsen. Meanwhile, her maker is closing in to finish her off for good. And what’s worse—facing off against your murderer, or having a never-ending period?
