The Festival of Spring from The Divan of Jelaleddin

Jeláleddín Rúmí (1207-1273) stands among the greatest poets of Persia and one of the most enduring voices of Sufi mysticism. For centuries his poetry has spoken to readers across cultures, offering a vision of spiritual life centered on love, devotion, and the search for God.

The Festival of Spring from the Díván of Jeláleddín brings together fifty ghazals drawn from Rumi's lyrical poetry. In these short poems, blending reflection and imagery, Rumi explores the longing of the soul for the divine and the inner transformation that lies at the heart of Sufi teaching. Written in the classical ghazal form, these verses unite simplicity of expression with spiritual depth.
