Oda has donated her consciousness to science, and scientists around the world are taking part in a race to bring her memories and thoughts back to life. Her body is gone, but everything else that Oda was still exists, stored as data.

Actually, Remi has a copy himself, in a small container in the fridge. In secret, he begins his own efforts to bring the woman he loves back to life. It will be a project that balances perilously between art, science and madness.

One day, when he has almost given up, he receives a text message with a desperate cry for help. He already has the number stored in his contact list. The message is from Oda.
