At an artists' retreat, where she plans to finally get down to writing a book, she meets a man who she intuitively mistrusts - and yet begins an intense affair with him. Despite being happily married, she then flies across the country to pursue him, and this sets of a series of events which will force her to examine everything she believed she wanted.
