The Golden Gospel is one of the most famous books by Gabriel Scott. It was published in several editions in the years between the to world wars. But the book is still very popular with readers of all ages because of the warm and humorous manner in which it is written. This is a story about the Lord himself and St. Peter that travel undercover on the earth. St. Peter is very upset about the miseries on earth, and asks the Lord to go with him and listen to St. Peters suggestions of improvements.
