For some, it heals their wounds. And for some, it is on their side. Not for David though: time is against him. Lost in our hectic world that seems to spin faster every day, David is searching for a way to slow things down. A scientist by profession, he is developing a revolutionary drug that could alter our perception of time – making seconds feel like minutes, minutes feel like hours, and hours feel like days. He dreams of reclaiming those endless childhood summers, those rainy days that stretch into eternity, those perfect moments that echo through our lives. But David is a man out of time. His scientific quest takes on a deeply personal dimension when his wife, Elena, is diagnosed with a rare and terminal heart condition. If David can rapidly perfect his new drug, could it enable him to live a lifetime with Elena in the few months she has left? Or could it even somehow give him the time needed to find a cure?It is a race against time. But can anyone ever win that race?Time is a ghost that stalks each of us across a featureless landscape. It haunts us all and there is nowhere to hide.
