Climate Action in a Globalizing World addresses the debate on political globalization, governance and social movements through an analysis of the interaction between movement mobilization and global movement strategies. More specifically, it examines the environmental movements in Denmark, Japan, Sweden and US with a particular focus on their interaction with global climate activism and global climate policy institutions in the context of the United Nations Framework on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of the Parties (COP) meetings.
