This book offers a timely and necessary exploration of journalism in fiction, traditionally centered on American media, by analyzing journalistic discourses within European films and television series, and by examining how audiences make sense of these narratives. Adopting an intersectional approach that considers gender, race, sexual orientation, and other dimensions of identity, the book revolves around two main pillars: content and audience.
