Network-Based Classrooms - Promises and Realities

Developed at Gallaudet University to allow deaf students to communicate via a local-area computer network, variations of the Electronic Networks for Interaction system are now used at more than 100 other schools. This 1993 study examines the process's implications for the teaching curriculum.
